This 17.9 hectare site was acquired in two parts from two different landowners. The greenfield land had not been promoted previously and was located outside of the town's development boundary. However, promotion of the site over several years allowed the Local Planning Authority to see the opportunity of this development and eventually support it, granting planning permission for 360 units. The whole site is being developed by a mainstream housebuilder.
