A promotion agreement was signed with two landowners and a pre-application enquiry for residential development was submitted swiftly after, supported by technical information such as a noise report to justify an uplift in numbers beyond those identified in the Local Plan.

Following a period of public consultation, an outline application for 100 dwellings was submitted in May 2020 and the proposals will be hopefully progressing towards approval shortly. We have utilised our relationship with the housebuilding industry to begin marketing the site to potential purchasers ahead of this decision.
