his site is subject to a promotion agreement and a Vision Document was produced which sets out a landscape-led masterplan which could deliver around 292 dwellings in a sensitively designed extension to this well-located village in Solihull.

It involved a full review by the technical team to understand the site’s context and the appropriate response to it, including the need to account for the future HS2 line, a retained and enhanced potential wildlife site, and the identified need for land to accommodate a school. Similarly to the Dorridge site, we utilised our knowledge of local and national issues and priorities, and provided significant benefits to offset the loss of the Green Belt, including the provision of a Country Park. The Vision Document has been submitted alongside a formal call for sites submission and promotion of the site is ongoing through the Local Plan Review.
